Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Slidetik ("the Service") at slidetik.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Slidetik is a TikTok slideshow generator for SaaS products. You provide a product URL; we scrape and analyze the content, then use AI to generate slides with copy and images in TikTok's 9:16 format. The Service includes account creation, project storage, and downloadable slide decks. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time, with or without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. The Service is intended for business use (e.g., SaaS founders, marketers). We may refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

4. Account and Authentication

You sign in via Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at plexytuner@gmail.com of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses from unauthorized access due to your failure to secure your credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to process URLs or content you do not have the right to use (e.g., scraping competitors' sites without permission, using copyrighted material without authorization);
• Generate content that infringes intellectual property, defames others, or violates any law;
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others;
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service;
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent;
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden our systems.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

6. Fees and Payment

Slidetik may offer free and paid plans. If you use a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a price increase constitutes acceptance. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

7. Intellectual Property

Our property: Slidetik, the slidetik.ai website, our logos, and all underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

Your content: You retain ownership of content you provide (e.g., product URLs, brand colors). You grant us a limited license to use that content to provide the Service (e.g., to scrape URLs, send data to AI providers, store your projects).

Generated content: The slides and copy generated by the Service are created for you. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the generated content for your own marketing (e.g., posting on TikTok, Instagram Reels). We do not claim ownership of your generated slides. However, AI-generated content may not be unique; we do not guarantee that similar content will not be generated for others.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI) to generate slides and copy. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of any content before publishing or using it. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or legality of AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SLIDETIK AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IN SUCH CASES, THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Slidetik and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any content you provide or generate using the Service.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 7–11) will survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Slidetik is based, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

15. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Slidetik regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them without restriction.
